Upcoming project MAKING LOVE

In her newest creation Sabina Bočková wants to continue in the body investigation of a position of a woman in nowdays society and the search for freedom of identity and expression that she started in her latest piece Fairy Tales. This time she wants to focus specifically on the topic of female sexuality, its connection to spirituality and how these two are viwed in our contemporary social-cultural context. In the heart of the project there is a need for physical exploration of an authentic and complex relationship with one`s own sexual element and at the same time a desire for deep and rich research in how do we as a society percieve and accept (or not) this part of our human nature. How is our sexuality and its deep connection with something beyond formed by popculture, porn or Instagram spiritual journeys? „I feel a deep need for real integration of female sexuality as a normal human experience, that is accepted part of our society. I want not to hide it. I want to experience, that it does not belong to anyone. My question is how can I experience a pleasure from my own body for its own purpose and at the same time find a way of sharing this state with public. I think that this is still a huge question for us as a society.
